The ERF-5W™ from Polezero is a Tunable Filter that operates from 30 to 520 MHz. It can handle an in-band average input power of 5 W and has an insertion loss of less than 3.5 dB. The tunability of this filter is accomplished by the use of three poles of selectivity, multiple internal tunable filters along with high-performance PIN diode RF band select switches. It covers the entire military tactical radio tuning range and is designed to minimize size and power consumption while maintaining high RF power handling and linearity characteristics. The filter is available in both single and dual-channel configurations.
The ERF-5W™ enables serial control via a standard Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI)-based bus. It requires a DC supply of 5 V and consumes less than 1.5 A of current. This filter is suitable for use in UAVs, military radios and radars, SATCOM, test and measurement equipment, and industrial and medical equipment.
