The VS-800 from Vectron is a Voltage Controlled SAW Oscillator (VCSO) that provides output frequencies from 800 MHz to 3.2 GHz. It has an internal multiplier circuit deployed for output frequencies above 1.6 GHz. The VCSO is capable of achieving 6fs-RMS jitter performance over the offset bandwidth of 12 kHz to 20 MHz. This product is available in a hermetically sealed leadless surface mount package that measures 5.0 x 3.2 x 1.8 mm. It is ideal for emerging Optical Transport Networks, high-speed converters, wireless communication and DOCSIS applications.
