The STO-0609300-CM-E1 from ERAVANT is a Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) Frequency Extender that operates in the D-Band from 110 to 170 GHz. It supports input frequencies from 4.58 to 7.08 GHz and integrates a precision micrometer adjustable attenuator with a tuning range of 30 dB. This frequency extender is compatible with Copper Mountain Technologies (CMTs) CobaltFx VNAs and achieves full 1-port, S-parameter testing over the operating frequency range. It requires dual sources for the frequency to be extended and can achieve a dynamic range of up to 100 dB for certain passive products that require high rejection, isolation, and return loss testing such as directional couplers, orthomode transducers, and filters.

This extender can be equipped with ERAVANT’s calibration kit and Wave-Glide rail system to complete the D-Band VNA test set. It requires an AC supply from 100 to 240 V. This VNA frequency extender is available in a module that measures 11.50 x 3.00 x 1.90 inches with SMA (female) connectors and is ideal for VNA frequency extension, S-parameter characterization, and test lab instrumentation applications.
