The E5081A ENA-X from Keysight is a Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) that operates from 10 MHz to 44 GHz. This VNA can accelerate 5G and satellite communication component characterization and perform flexible high-power tests with direct receiver access to integrate booster amplifiers, attenuators, or directional couplers. It combines various measurements into a single instrument and enables system characterization with faster speeds and greater flexibility, at a lower cost. This VNA has built-in low-noise receivers, and a configurable test set combined with modulated signal measurements that allow users to characterize high-performance components with a single connection.
The E5081A utilizes a unique spectral correlation technique which directly analyzes the modulated input and output signals in the frequency domain on the network analyzer. It ensures test accuracy and repeatability with a single test setup using full vector correction at the DUT plane. The integrated hardware and advanced network analysis software enable the E5081A network analyzer to simplify active device characterization while reducing test cycle time. It achieves extremely low residual EVM with integrated modulation distortion software. This VNA supports testing of 5G NR transmitters in the FR1 and FR2 frequency bands require accuracy and repeatability to ensure conformance with the latest standards. Unlike conventional active device measurement setups which require multiple instruments, this VNA avoids wasting valuable time by manually reconfiguring setups or automating complex switch-based systems.
The VNA has a 12.1-inch color LCD with a multi-touch screen with 1280 x 800-pixel resolution. It is available in an enclosure that measures 460 x 266 x 344 mm.
