The STA-60-05-D5 from ERAVANT is a G-Band Direct Reading, Rotary Vane Attenuator that operates from 140 to 220 GHz. It has an attenuation range of 60 dB with a 0.01 dB step size from 0 to 20 dB attenuation and a 0.1 dB step size from 20 to 60 dB attenuation. The attenuator is suitable for use in millimeter wave systems across the standard G-band. It can handle an average input power of 50 mW, a peak input power of 200 mW and has an insertion loss of less than 6 dB.

The STA-60-05-D5 has a digital screen that indicates the attenuation value directly. It is powered by a rechargeable built-in battery, which can support up to 10 hours of continuous operation with the backlight ON and 40 hours with the backlight OFF. The battery can be charged by an AC adapter via a standard USB-C cable, or the attenuator can be operated while charging by using the AC adapter. The attenuator is available in a module that measures 3.78 x 1.58 x 2.70 inches with a WR-05 waveguide interface (UG-387/U-M Flange) at the input and output. It is ideal for use in the lab for manual and automated test sets.
