The STA-60-10-D5 from Eravant is a Waveguide Attenuator that operates in the W-Band from 75 to 110 GHz. It provides an attenuation range from 0 to 60 dB with step size of 0.01 dB (from 0 to 20 dB attenuation) and 0.1 dB (from 20 to 60 dB of attenuation). This attenuator has a rotary vane and a digital screen which indicates the attenuation value directly. It can handle input power up to 300 mW and has an insertion loss of less than 2 dB. The attenuator is powered by a rechargeable built-in battery, which can support up to 10 hours of continuous operation with the backlight “ON” and 40 hours with the backlight “OFF”. The battery can be charged by the provided AC adapter via a standard USB-C cable and can be operated while charging.

The STA-60-10-D5 is available in a RoHS-compliant module that measures 2.70 x 3.78 x 1.00 inches and has WR-10 input/output waveguide interfaces with UG-387/U-M flange. It is ideal for use in a test lab, instrumentations, and manual test set applications. The attenuator requires an AC supply voltage of 100 to 240 V.
