The TBMA4 from Tekbox Digital Solutions is a Double-Ridged Horn Antenna that operates from 1 to 8 GHz. It provides an isotropic gain of more than 6 dBi and has a front-to-back ratio of 20 dB. The antenna has a VSWR of less than 3:1 and an antenna factor from 23 to 43 dB/m. It can handle a continuous input power of up to 100 W. The antenna is optimized for pre-compliance EMC testing applications above 1 GHz, as per the CISPR 16 specification for radiated noise measurements.
The TBMA4 has a stainless-steel housing that measures 9.49 x 6.03 x 8.44 inches with its radiating element made from an edge-plated PCB substrate. It has an N-female connector and a ‘pistol-grip’ tripod. The antenna has a standard ¼” thread on its bottom that is mountable with most standard tripods. It also has an optional indexed rear-mounting plate with a 6 mm threaded hole in its centre and 4 mm threaded holes radially positioned in 45° steps.
