The STWLC88 from STMicroelectronics is an Inductive 50 W Wireless Power Receiver. It is designed to support the latest Qi specifications for the inductive communication protocol with Extended Power Profile (EPP) and the proprietary STSuperCharge (STSC) protocol for fast charging. The receiver is capable of operating in transmitter (Tx) mode to share power for charging other devices with the output power up to 12 W depending on the coil used. It has an embedded FTP non-volatile memory that enables I2C interface customization and supports proprietary communication and charging protocols.
This Qi-compliant wireless receiver has an integrated low impedance 27 V synchronous rectifier and programmable LDO regulator and achieves high efficiency and low power dissipation. It is available in a tape and reel package that measures 4.077 x 4.490 mm.
