The DA14682 is a Bluetooth 5 System-on-Chip (SoC) that also supports the Bluetooth mesh standard. The SoC includes 8 Mbits of onboard Flash, making it ideal for applications with tight space constraints. This flexible System-on-Chip combines an application processor, memory, a cryptography engine, power management unit, digital and analog peripherals and a Bluetooth Low Energy MAC engine and radio transceiver. It has an integrated 2.4 GHz CMOS transceiver with a balun, that has a receive sensitivity of -94 dBm. The DA14682 has enhanced security features such as key manipulation, secure booting, starting the system only if the FLASH image is authenticated, a complete public/private hardware acceleration engine and a true random number generator (TRNG). It complies with Bluetooth 5.0, ETSI EN 300 328 and EN 300 440 Class 2 (Europe), FCC CFR47 Part 15 (US) and ARIB STD-T66 (Japan). The SoC is available in an AQFN package that measures 6 x 6 x 0.9 mm and is ideal for wearables, smart home, cloud connected applications, banking and virtual reality remotes.
