The CYW20721 from Infineon Technologies is a Baseband Processor SoC with an integrated 2.4 GHz transceiver. It has been developed for Bluetooth 5.0 and supports basic rate (BR), enhanced data rate (EDR), BLE, and adaptive frequency hopping (AFH). The low power SoC is intended for use in audio, IoT, sensors (medical, home, security, and so forth), and human interface device (HID) applications. It delivers up to 6 dBm of output power and has a receive sensitivity of -95.5 dBm.

This stand-alone SoC is manufactured using an advanced 40 nm CMOS low-power fabrication process and employs a high level of integration to reduce external components, thereby minimizing application footprint and costs. It is available in a 5 mm 40-pin QFN package. The CYW20721 is also available in 5 x 3.1 mm WLCSP package.
