The QCA6595AU from Qualcomm is an MU-MIMO Wi-Fi / BT 5.1 Automotive Dual-MAC Combo Chip for Automotive Infotainment and Telematics applications. It supports 802.11ac, 802.11a/b/g, 802.11n, Bluetooth 5.1, and comes with WPA3 wireless security. The SoC is based on Qualcomm aptX™ audio technology and is designed to address surging connectivity demands in vehicles. This chip is available in 2x2 and 1x1 MIMO configurations and delivers a PHY throughput of over 1 Gbps. It utilizes 40/60/ 80 MHz channels and has an integrated 2.4/5 GHz power amplifier (PA) and an LNA to maximize the RF link budget.
This chip is equipped with MIMO+SISO, Dual MAC, 2.4 and 5 GHz Dual Band Simultaneous (DBS) capability to deliver faster, more secure, and more robust Wi-Fi experiences than current automotive Wi-Fi/BT products. For OEMs, it facilitates Next-gen Infotainment use cases such as wireless car projection of phones, and multiple wireless camera and display connections. The AECQ100 Grade 3 SoC is available in a QFN dual row package for module or chip-on-board assembly. It supports 2 or 3 antennas for optimum Bluetooth/ 2.4GHz Wi-Fi operation.
