The AIROC CYW55572 from Infineon is a Wi-Fi 6/6E and Bluetooth 5.2 SoC that operates in the 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz bands. It is available in 2x2 MIMO or 1x1 SISO configurations and delivers a PHY data rate of up to 1.2 Gbps (Wi-Fi). This SoC uses 20/40/80 MHz Wi-Fi channels and supports a 1024-QAM modulation scheme. It supports LE Audio, LE- 2Mbps, Long Range, and Advertising extension of Bluetooth and also supports direction finding AoA/AoD. This SoC has built-in advanced Bluetooth/WLAN coexistence and a 2-wire SECI for external coexistence.

It has enhancements to improve range, power efficiency, network robustness, and security. This chip is highly integrated with an on-chip power management unit, power amplifiers, and low-noise amplifiers. It supports Bluetooth/GPS/LTE radio and can be controlled via PCIe & SDIO interfaces for WLAN and UART, I2S & PCM interfaces for Bluetooth. The SoC is available in an FCGBA or WLCSP package and is ideal for gaming, smart speaker, voice Assist system, AR/VR, digital cameras, security systems, industrial gateways, and AI-enabled applications.
