The nRF52810 from Nordic Semiconductor is a Bluetooth Low Energy System-on-Chip (SoC) that provides 2 Mbps of throughput, improved coexistence, and increased broadcast capacity. It is based on a 64 MHz, 32-bit ARM Cortex M4 MCU and consumes very low power. Target applications include network-connected sensors and beacon building blocks for the IoT, low-cost wearables, low-cost wireless mice and keyboards for computers and tablets, toys, disposable medical monitoring devices, and connectivity controllers as companions to much larger MCUs.
The SoC is available in two package variants: 6 x 6 mm QFN32 and 5 x 5 mm QFN16. The nRF52810 is supported by the S132 SoftDevice, a Bluetooth 5 pre-qualified Bluetooth low energy protocol stack. A 2.5 x 2.5 mm WLCSP version will be available later.
