The CW641 from NXP Semiconductors is a 6 GHz Tri-Band 4x4 Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) solution designed for access points and service provider gateways. It supports 20/40/80/160 MHz channel bandwidths and provides a peak data rate of 4.8 Gbits/s. By combining NXP’s full MU-MIMO and OFDMA solutions, it increases wireless network capacity to meet the growing demands of user applications. It also features 1024 QAM, spatial reuse, range extension and DCM. The CW641 has a PCIe Gen 3.0 (2 lane) interface and supports IEEE 802.11ac Wave 2 and 802.11a/b/g/n.
