The QCM6490 from Qualcomm is a 5G, Wi-Fi 6/6E and Bluetooth 5.2 SoC that supports 2G/3G/4G/5G mm-Wave and Sub-6 GHz bands. It supports bi-directional Multi-User MIMO with a data rate of up to 3.6 Gbps for Wi-Fi. The SoC has an integrated 5G cellular modem and delivers an uplink data rate of 2.5 Gbps and a downlink data rate of 3.7 Gbps in 5G cellular. It is designed with a 6 nm process, for superior performance and power efficiency. The SoC is ideal for transportation & logistics, smart warehousing, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, ecommerce applications.
The QCM6490 has a Kryo 670 CPU built on Arm v8 Cortex technology, 812 MHz Adreno 642L GPU and Adreno 633 VPU for high-quality, ultra HD video encode & decode. It also includes the 6th generation Hexagon DSP Qualcomm AI Engine with dual Hexagon Vector eXtensions (HVX), Hexagon Co-processor (Hexagon CP) 2.0 and Hexagon Tensor Accelerator. The SoC can be controlled via PCIe, USB 3.1 Type-C with DisplayPort and USB 2.0 interfaces.
This SoC supports Qualcomm’s 4K QAM, 160MHz bandwidth & advanced Dual Band Simultaneous functionalities for connectivity and Qualcomm Low-Power Picture Enhancement & Qualcomm True Palette display features using FHD+ Adreno 1075 DPU. It has Qualcomm Spectra 570L 14-bit image signal processing (ISP) and two lite ISPs to support up to five concurrent cameras, and video encode/decode at up to 4K60. This SoC also supports GPS, GLONASS, NavIC, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS, and SBAS location services.
