The EFR32FG23 from Silicon Laboratories are Wireless SoCs for sub-GHz IoT applications. The SoCs have an integrated power amplifier that delivers up to 20 dBm of transmit power. These radios have fractional-N frequency synthesizers with a resolution of 24.8 Hz and support 2/4 (G)FSK with fully configurable shaping, OQPSK DSSS, (G)MSK & OOK modulation formats. They require supply voltages of 1.71-3.80 V and consume under 85.5 mA of current.
The EFR32FG23 SoCs have 32-bit ARM Cortex-M33 cores that operate to 78 MHz, have 512 kB of flash and 64 kB of RAM. These single die, multicore solutions provide long range connectivity and are not susceptible to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi/Bluetooth interferences. They enable secure connectivity with a variety of vault protection features. These SoCs are available in surface mount packages that measures up to 6.00 x 6.00 x 0.85 mm with 31 general purpose I/O pins and a wide selection of MCU peripherals. These wireless SoCs are ideal for IoT-level smart home, security, lighting, building automation, and metering applications.
