STM32WLE5JC Image

The STM32WLE5JC from STMicroelectronics is an LPWAN Module that operates from 150 to 960 MHz. It has a 32-bit Arm Cortex M4 CPU with an adaptive real-time accelerator (ART Accelerator), 256 KB flash memory, 64 KB RAM and 20 x 32-bit backup register. This module has an embedded SMPS step-down converter, SMPS to LDO smart switch, low-power BOR (brownout reset) with 5 selectable thresholds, ultra-low-power POR/PDR and programmable voltage detector (PVD). It has a 32 MHz crystal oscillator and a 12-bit ADC with a sampling speed of 2.5 Msps and hardware oversampling of up to 16 bits. It supports LoRa, (G)FSK, (G)MSK and BPSK modulation schemes.

The STM32WLE5JC provides a Tx output power of up to +22 dBm and has an Rx sensitivity of -148 dBm. It requires a DC supply from 1.8 to 3.6 V, consumes 87 mA of current in Tx mode and 4.82 mA of current in Rx mode. This module is available in a WLCSP59, UFQFPN48 or UFBGA73 package that measures 7 x 7 mm. It can be controlled via ADC, DAC, SPI, I2C, LPUART, USART, and AES interfaces.
