A Conformance Test System is used to perform conformance testing to determine whether an RF product complies with the requirements of a specification, technical standard, contract, or regulation. These test systems use logical testing, physical testing, mathematical testing or chemical testing. They may also test devices for other requirements of efficiency, interoperability or compliance.

Important parameters when looking for a conformance test system:
