What is Conformance Test System?
A Conformance Test System is used to perform conformance testing to determine whether an RF product complies with the requirements of a specification, technical standard, contract, or regulation. These test systems use logical testing, physical testing, mathematical testing or chemical testing. They may also test devices for other requirements of efficiency, interoperability or compliance.
Important parameters when looking for a conformance test system:
Frequency Range: Frequency range is the range of frequencies over which these test systems can perform conformance testing of devices.
Connectors: These are the connectors supported by the test system that can be used to connect the device under test to perform conformance testing.
Technology: These are the different RF technologies for which the test system can perform conformance testing according to the regulations, specifications or standards of that particular technology. These may include 3G, 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi, GNSS etc.
