Versatile 5G FR2 over-the-air Antenna Characterization at your Benchtop
Mobile devices that operate in the FR2 frequency range experience a high path loss, something that can be solved by using the beam-forming antenna arrays. In this webinar, we will discuss the topic of antenna design and the measurement process for multi-beam 5G FR2 antennas. We will also focus on the specific ongoing designs developed in the frame of the energy-efficient mm-wave for the EEMW4FIX project funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR). Together, we will also discuss and explain the beam switch concept that is based on a phased array and flat lens at 30 GHz.
We will also demonstrate the design optimization process by using the R&S®ATS800B CATR benchtop antenna test system and introduce the specific Python library to control the different parts of the antenna radiation system.
