Five Tips for Successful 3D Electromagnetic Simulation
This application example documents the steps taken to help a customer resolve a complex EM simulation problem in AnalystTM 3D finite element method simulator within NI AWR Design Environment. The customer was developing a module design for a filter on a chip and needed to understand the RF signal path. The following five tips were developed in order to help this customer and other Analyst users more easily diagnose and successfully overcome EM simulation issues and understand how to analyze a 3D module simulation that is providing confusing results.
