Radiation Performance of Replicated Integrated Circuits
In today’s semiconductor marketplace Rochester Electronics is replicating an increasing number of integrated circuits (ICs) for critical legacy applications. The impact of radiation on the performance and behavior of integrated circuits is typically addressed through either circuit design techniques, by process technology customizations, or a combination of both. In their replication design methodologies Rochester Electronics strives to replicate and match the original circuit implementation and performance as identically as practically possible. This white paper examines the anticipated radiation tolerance of CMOS ICs that are replicated by Rochester Electronics relative to the tolerance of the original component.
