Cellular networks today provide significant data and video in addition to traditional voice, at faster rates than ever before. This has led to new modulation techniques and new air interface standards that rely on complex digital techniques. While digital techniques enable systems to run faster, consume less power, using smaller package sizes and at higher reliability with each generation, these systems place new demands on the RF and analog signal acquisition portion of the system.
