The CAY 40 meter radio telescope is equipped with a Fast Fourier Transform spectrometer, so-called FFTS, from Radiometer Physics GmbH, for the detection and observation of molecular lines in single-dish mode. The spectrometer has eight modules, each one configurable during booting in any of the operation modes described in Table 1.
