Leading supplier as well as manufacturer of RF/Microwave components, East Coast Microwave (ECM), has announced the release of the first Nano-RF Cable Custom Assembly specifically targeting high density, high performance applications.
As technology evolves, next generation design requirements continue to push the envelope of product capability on performance and size. Today’s mission critical systems need to perform as required every time while allowing for designers to incorporate more functionality and capability. ECM’s new cable assembly specifically targets these high performance applications.
The new NANO RF assemblies incorporate G4PO and 2.92mm interfaces using a 0.041” coaxial cable, bringing the best in high performance, low loss cable assemblies on a rapid turnaround. ECM’s unique manufacturing process is structured to support high mix, low to medium volume demands with lead-times of 2-4 weeks standard and 48 hours for ultra-rapid delivery service (subject to availability).
The G4PO connectors offer a blind mate interconnect that has a center-to-center spacing of 0.070” and weighs just 5.0 mg. This series is designed to accommodate both radial and axial misalignment with negligible Voltage Standing Wave Radio (VSWR) change to ensure high performance in high-stress environments within this series. Operational up to 40 GHz (50Ω impedance), these NANO RF cable assemblies offer maximum performance in ultra-high-density applications.
ECM also offers adapters available in 1.85mm, and 2.92mm versions.
