At European Microwave Week 2016, Aspen Electronics will be exhibiting a wide range of specialist RF & Microwave components as well as test products from some well-known industry brands. These include products from RN2 Technologies, Custom MMIC and Guerilla RF.
Recently we noticed that the Admiral Microwave logo is now showing on the ASPEN Electronics website. An industry soruce told us that Admiral Microwave was now a part of Aspen Electronics. As a result of this acquisition/merger the product range and the line of manufacturers represented by Aspen Electronics will be larger than before.
A recent addition to the Aspen portfolio, RN2 Technologies specialise in multi-layered circuit design and manufacturing processes using LTCC, HTCC, AlN, and Ferrite material. With 3 dimensional stack technology and using Ag and Cu to make the electric circuits, they can make a number of passive components, like couplers, terminations and attenuators, and circuits in small chip sizes and substrates up to 6 GHz.
Exclusive to Aspen Electronics will be a range of catalogue monolithic microwave integrated circuits from Custom MMIC. Custom MMIC boasts an extensive library of GaAs-based attenuators (digital and VVA), phase shifters (digital and analog), and switches (SPST, SPDT, and higher), that help circuit designers exercise precise control over the system in preparation.
Guerilla RF high performance RF and Microwave IC products enable new levels of range and coverage area in wireless systems. Aimed at various infrastructure applications, their products utilise patented technologies, world class IC design talents, and cutting edge device technologies to deliver results.
Aspen Electronics will also have a stand dedicated to Test & Measurement where they will feature a selection of RF & Microwave test products. Aspen experts will be on hand across both stands to help and can advise on configuring systems for customer-specific applications. Their highly experienced technical team, backed by a well-equipped laboratory, can provide technical support covering a number of application areas, especially in the RF, microwave, fibre optics, telecommunications and mobile communications sectors.
