Comsol, the developer of a leading modelling and simulation software, COMSOL Multiphysics, have announced that the 2020 COMSOL CONFERENCE North America edition, will be held online, from October 7-8. The conference will provide a first hand look at what is possible with multiphysics modeling and numerical simulation, as well as an opportunity to attend a wide range of mini-courses to advance modeling skills. Attendees will also have the chance to see the latest version of the COMSOL Multiphysics software in action.
Program Highlights
- Tech Cafes: Ask your toughest modeling questions to COMSOL technical product managers and application engineers in these interactive sessions on advanced modeling topics, featuring actual support questions from users.
- Updated Mini-Courses: Learn new modeling skills and techniques in lecture-based mini-courses geared toward both new and experienced users, with core functionality, introductory, and advanced sessions.
- Panel Discussions: Participate in panel discussions featuring speakers across all fields of engineering to learn about what's new in multiphysics simulation in your industry.
Paper Presentations
At the COMSOL Conference 2020, attendees have the opportunity to showcase innovative use of numerical simulation and applications in a poster and/or paper presentation, with options to submit slides or give an oral presentation as well. Interested candidates can submit an abstract (500 words or less) to get started.
Abstracts will be reviewed by the program committee for acceptance, and accepted abstracts may be considered for Best Paper or Best Poster awards. After the conference, the published work will be recognized by a worldwide audience through COMSOL’s online User Presentations collection.
