SeeHawk Collect Simplifies 5G Network Deployment and Optimization

PCTEL, a leading global provider of wireless technology, announced a new automated reporting feature for its SeeHawk Collect network testing software. SeeHawk Collect makes it easy to collect and analyze data from PCTEL scanning receivers, including accurate field measurements of coverage and signal quality for 5G, LTE, 2G/3G cellular, WiFi, public safety, and private radio networks.

SeeHawk Collect reports will make 5G network deployment and optimization easier for users of PCTEL scanning receivers worldwide. They are excited to build on the success of our public safety network testing solution and meet growing customer demand for a similar reporting feature for the traditional cellular drive and walk testing.

SeeHawk Collect users can generate printable reports with a single click within minutes of completing a drive, saving hours, or even days of work post-processing and compiling data. The reports present a summary of the drive or walk test campaign, with network measurements and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) displayed on easy-to-read maps and charts.

PCTEL’s scanning receivers are precision RF testing tools. They are used to verify and improve the performance of wireless networks worldwide, including 5G NR, LTE, and public safety technologies. The scanning receivers support a variety of network engineering activities, including spectrum clearing, baseline testing, model tuning, network planning, network commissioning, acceptance testing, competitive benchmarking, troubleshooting, and network optimization. They integrate easily with third-party software and are supported by PCTEL’s own Engage™, SeeHawk®, and SeeWave® tools.
