Modelithics and International Manufacturing Services (IMS) have completed the development of two models for the IMSA-0805 and IMS1141 attenuator families. Each model represents 11-part values from 0-10 dB. These models were developed through the Modelithics Vendor Partner (MVP) Program under a 6-year collaboration plan established between Modelithics and IMS.
The two new Modelithics Microwave Global Models™ for both attenuator families are now available within the Modelithics COMPLETE Library™ as well as the Modelithics mmWave & 5G Library. The equivalent circuit models for the A-0805 and IMS1141 IMS attenuator families are part-value, pad, and substrate scalable and are validated up to 30 GHz. The models are intended for use with microstrip applications and account for substrate (or printed circuit board) related parasitic effects.
The Modelithics COMPLETE Library and the mmWave & 5G Library are available for Keysight Technologies’ PathWave Advanced Design System (ADS), Keysight Technologies’ PathWave RF Synthesis (Genesys), Cadence® AWR Design Environment®, Cadence Spectre® RF Options, Ansys® HFSS™, and Sonnet® Suites™.
