PPM Systems has introduced high-power broadband diplexers and RF phase shifters from Corry Micronics that can be widely used in defense and satellite communications. They continually expand their range of RF components to ensure customers always have the latest products for their critical RF applications.
The CMIDX series of high-power broadband diplexers are capable of handling input power of up to 150 watts, ideal for signal combining applications such as:
- Jamming
- Communication systems
- Re-broadcasting signals
- Multiband antenna systems with a common seeder
The passbands, temperature range, and input power can be customized for each application. The diplexers are compact and offer constant VSRW through the band and the cross-over region, as well as temperature stability across the frequency band.
Key features of the broadband diplexers:
- An impedance of 50 Ω.
- A customizable passband frequency range of 2-6 GHz or 8-18 GHz.
- N-Female connectors.
- A rejection band attenuation of over 40 dB.
They have also introduced RF phase shifters. These are used in high-frequency RF designs to provide a phase shift to the signal by adding propagation delay. PPM Systems can offer both precision voltage and digitally controlled phase shifters, used in applications including:
- Communications antennas.
- Phased-array radar.
- Satellite communications.
- Phase cancellation.
- Beamforming systems.
Paul Cotterill, Business Development Manager, said: “Our ever-expanding range of RF components means our customers always have the latest technology available to design and build complex RF systems.”
