Linx Technologies has introduced nine new IP67-rated dipole antennas. These compact and rugged outdoor antennas can be used in a wide range of applications, including 5G, LTE, WiFi 6, WiFi 6E, cellular IoT (LTE-M, NB-IoT), LPWA, ISM, C-V2X, DSRC, CBRS, and remote control.
IP, or Ingress Protection, refers to the level to which a product is protected from dust and water infiltration. Linx’s IPW antennas are IP67-rated, making them well-suited for outdoor and industrial conditions. Each antenna in the IPW Series provides a ground plane independent dipole antenna solution. The offering includes seven rugged, straight whip-style, N-connector antennas for use in permanent outdoor wireless routers, private cellular networks, and IoT installations. Also included in the release are two SMA connector-mount, hinged 868 MHz and 915 MHz antennas supporting LPWA applications such as LoRaWAN, and enabling use across a variety of weather conditions.
Linx CEO, Tolga Latif stated that while Linx already offers many IP-rated and weather-resistant antennas, this group of antennas provides an added level of robustness by combining IP capability with sturdy N-connector attachment and compact housing that reduces the likelihood of accidental damage.
The IP-rated outdoor antennas are available now via Linx Technologies’ distributor and manufacturer representative networks.
