This video features Cree offering designers an extra port within the model to gain direct access to the current generator of the transistor without intrinsic parasitics such as die manifold and extrinsic parasitics of the package and wire bonds. This feature allows amplifier designers the ability to analyze circuit waveforms without the degradation of the parasitic capacitances. This is important to help design higher order amplifiers such as Class E, F and inverse F amplifiers.
