The First IEEE International Microwave & Antennas Symposium to be held in Cairo, Egypt

The 1st International Microwave & Antennas Symposium 2023 is scheduled to take place from February 7th – 9th 2023 in Cairo, Egypt. The event is planned to be organized annually in different African countries and is sponsored by the AIN Shams University and the German university in Cairo. The International Microwave & Antennas Symposium (IMAS) aims to provide an ideal place for the exchange of scientific and technical information, at both academic and industrial levels, with fosters collaboration and cooperation in the microwaves, antennas & propagation domain at African and global levels.

The International Microwave & Antennas Symposium (IMAS) Conference will cover the following topics:

  • Theory and applications of microwave, millimeter-wave, terahertz and optical signals
  • Antenna theory and applications
  • Microwave photonics
  • Guided-wave passive and active components
  • High frequency Integrated circuits, sub-systems, and systems.
  • Nano structures, Metamaterials and photonic crystals

 The IMAS 2023 Chairpersons are as follows:

The Three-day event that takes place from February 7th – 9th 2023 will focus on Conferences, Workshops pertaining to advanced space technologies & wire technologies for smart cities, Competition & Awards for best paper, best poster & best student’s award. However, the following deadlines must be followed by participants to comply with the rules & regulations of the competition:

  • Proposals for Special sessions and tutorials -15TH OCT. 2022
  • Deadline for paper Submission -15TH OCT. 2022
  • Notification of Paper Acceptance -15TH DEC. 2022
  • Final submission and early registration -15TH JAN. 2023
