The Radio Frequency Equipment and Technology Section from European Space Agency (ESA) is organizing the 1st Space Microwave Week next year from 8-12 May, 2023 in the Netherlands. The aim of the Space Microwave Week is to offer a new flagship international forum where microwave, millimeter-wave, and terahertz technology developers, equipment designers, systems developers, operators, experts, universities, users, and space agencies can openly network, discuss their ideas, share their experiences and formulate the challenges to be met.
This Space Microwave Week has technical co-sponsorship of the European Microwave Association (EuMA). This event replaces two historical ESA workshops: “Microwave Technology and Techniques Workshop” and “Workshop on mm-Wave Technology and Applications”, with a single larger and wider-reaching event for the benefit of our microwave space community.
The conference will provide many opportunities for networking and interaction with international experts in a wide variety of specialties, being an exciting opportunity for the presentation and discussion of the most recent advances in the microwave, millimeter-wave, and terahertz technology fields, and equipment for space applications. It will be the flagship forum for identifying trends in technologies to be monitored during the coming years. Participants will have the opportunity to share their technical expertise and views through formal presentations and informal discussions.
