San-tron Showcases High-Performance 1.85 mm/2.4 mm Field Replaceable RF Connectors and VNA Test Cables

San-tron, a USA-based RF connector company, is exhibiting at the International Microwave Symposium (IMS) 2023 from June 13 – 15, 2023 (Booth 526) in San Diego this week. At the event San-tron is showcasing their high-performance RF connectors including the 1.85 mm and 2.4 mm field replaceable connectors and high-durability TuffTest™ Microwave/RF VNA test cables with SMA, 2.92 mm, 2.4 mm and 1.85 mm connector options.

1.85 mm Field Replaceable Connectors

San-tron’s new line of high-performance, 1.85 mm field replaceable connectors are mode-free and deliver low VSWR performance through 65 GHz. Typical VSWR performance is below 1.15:1 to 50 GHz and 1.25:1 to 65 GHz. The new 1.85 mm field replaceable connectors are available in 3/8 and 1/2-inch square, 2-hole 0.550” flange and 2-hole 0.625” flange configurations for 0.009” launch pin diameter. Other mounting options may be made available upon request. 1.85 mm connectors are also inter-mateable with 2.4 mm connectors.

These rugged 1.85mm connectors are made with the finest materials: high-performance, gold-plated beryllium copper contacts, polyetherimide (PEI) capture bead and rugged 303 stainless steel bodies.

2.4 mm Field Replaceable Connectors

San-tron’s new line of high-performance, 2.4mm field replaceable connectors are mode free and deliver low VSWR performance through 50 GHz. Typical VSWR performance is below 1.10:1 to 18 GHz, 1.15:1 to 40 GHz and 1.2:1 to 50 GHz.

The new 2.4mm field replaceable connectors are available in 3/8 and 1/2-inch square, 2-hole 0.550” flange and 2 hole 0.625” flange configurations for 0.009” and 0.012” launch pin diameters. Other mounting options may be made available upon request. 2.4 mm connectors are also inter-mate able with 1.85 mm connectors.

TuffTest™ Microwave/RF VNA Test Cables

San-tron’s TuffTest™ SMA, 2.92 mm, 2.4 mm and 1.85 mm Microwave/RF VNA test cables offer superior performance, durability, and value.

Tufftest VNA test cables feature a high-performance microwave cable, protected by a wound stainless steel armor casing and an abrasion-resistant outer sheath. The resulting construction is highly flexible, crush and torque resistant with virtually no cable spring back. All TuffTest VNA cables provide low VSWR in addition to stable amplitude and phase performance up to 50,000 flexures.

Tufftest VNA test cables are available in SMA (18 GHz), 2.92mm (40 GHz), 2.4mm (50 GHz), and 1.85mm (67 GHz) configurations with male-to-male or male-to-female gender. The test cables are stocked in 2-, 3- and 5-foot assemblies.
