mmTron, a leading provider of cutting-edge mmWave products, has announced its recent relocation to a new and larger office space in a move to support the company's rapid growth and expanding market demand for their innovative solutions. This relocation, which took place over the summer, signifies a significant milestone in mmTron's journey towards strengthening its research, development, and production capabilities.
Michael Roberg, Engineering Fellow, in the lab at mmTron's new office.
The new office space boasts an expanded and state-of-the-art laboratory equipped with advanced testing and measurement tools to facilitate product development and quality assurance. Notable equipment in the lab includes the Keysight 4-port PNA-X, Keysight spectrum analyzer, Rohde & Schwarz 20 giga-sample-per-second (GSPS) oscilloscope, Keysight transistor modeling system, power meters, and programmable power supplies.
One of the highlights of the lab is the inclusion of two probe stations from FormFactor, which enables on-wafer testing. One of these stations has the remarkable capability to interface with frequency extenders, allowing for measurements up to the terahertz range, a crucial feature for cutting-edge research and development in the mmWave technology sector.
The new space also includes wire bond assembly, incoming and outgoing inspection, and inventory storage with N2 desiccators, as well as offices for team members. mmTron remains conveniently located in Redwood City, just a short distance of less than half a mile from their previous location.
