Qorvo will be presenting the advantages of Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) during The 2015 Defence, Security & Space Forum in the Palais Des Congrès at European Microwave Week in Paris, France.
Wednesday, September 9, 2015, 10:50AM – 18:45PM: Roger Hall, General Manager of Defense & Aerospace Products will examine how improvements in GaN technology and device packaging lead to smaller, higher performance RF systems for UAVs. New improvements such as lightweight MMICs and transistors, packaging and thermal improvements are enabling designers to develop more powerful and efficient UAVs.
The 2015 Defence, Security & Space Forum is an event hosted in conjunction with Microwave Journal and European Microwave Association (EuMA) at European Microwave Week (EuMW) 2015 in Paris, France. The forum features industry experts representing space, military, and academia sectors. This year will focus in RF solutions for UAVs and cover aspects including: Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) for UAVs, ESM and EW for UAVs, operational use of integrated RF systems for UAVs as well as Airborne SARs.
