Ranatec Introduces Digitally Tunable Band Pass Filters from 600 to 6000 MHz

Ranatec, a part of Qamcom Group and a progressive creator of test and measurement equipment for RF and microwave applications has introduced the digitally tunable RI 282 Band Pass Filters. These new active filters, which are the variants of Ranatec’s series of tunable band reject filters, provide exceptional performance and are digitally tunable between 600-6000 MHz. They have a bandpass bandwidth of 20/100 MHz.

With the newest addition to Ranatec’s broad product offering, these next-generation filters are the latest Ranatec innovation empowering leading electronics manufacturers to perform the enhanced testing that places their most advanced products in pole position for market.

These filters provide a rejection of 50 dB in the stopband with an adjustable gain. They offer a frequency resolution of 1 kHz and a frequency accuracy of 20 ms. These filters can be controlled using a LAN interface. The RI 282 is available in a rack-mount enclosure with SMA (female) connectors and is ideal for testing wide frequency range devices when out-of-band signals need to be suppressed, and for generating a pure input signal with low noise outside of the band.

High-performance RI 282 electronically tunable bandpass active filters are fully equipped to conform to all existing sub-6 mobile bands, achieved by benchmark microwave design, digital signal processing and use of state-of-the-art components. The filter can be selected at the ordering stage with high-end requirements that will be unaffected over the complete tuning range.
