Anritsu Corporation has officially joined the OpenROADM Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) as the first Test & Measurement instrument vendor in the alliance. OpenROADM MSA is a collaborative group defining standards to enhance interoperability and flexibility across multi-vendor optical transmission networks. Anritsu's involvement underscores its commitment to advancing open, adaptable network solutions and strengthening the efficiency of optical transmission networks worldwide.
As the only Test & Measurement vendor currently in the group, Anritsu will focus on developing and validating interconnect specifications that promote seamless operation across equipment from multiple vendors. Through testing innovations and interoperability verification, Anritsu’s contributions aim to enhance OpenROADM’s mission of open, vendor-neutral network evolution.
"Anritsu is thrilled to become the inaugural Test & Measurement instrument vendor in the OpenROADM MSA," said Tadanori Nishikobara, Marketing Director of the Service Infrastructure Solutions Division at Anritsu Corporation. "The OpenROADM MSA Group is committed to the open evolution of network management and vendor interoperability. We eagerly anticipate collaborating on network orchestration, which will enable us to control and monitor the quality of the entire network. Additionally, we are excited about introducing test and measurement innovations that will facilitate efficient network fault detection and causal analysis."
Anritsu will bring its expertise in communications test and measurement to the OpenROADM MSA, supporting interoperability verification and contributing to the development of test proposals that align with OpenROADM standards.
