Comtech Telecommunications has announced that during their fourth quarter of fiscal 2016, their Government Solutions segment received a $7.6 million order for their Secret Internet Protocol Router, Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router Access Point (SNAP) and Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) satellite systems. To-date, they have received $49.5 million of funded orders against the $91.0 million contract ceiling. The U.S. Army Project Manager for the Warfighter Information Network - Tactical (PM WIN-T) Commercial Satellite Terminal Program is funding this procurement through the Army's GTACS contract vehicle.
“Our cost-effective, easily deployable and reliable communications systems provide the ideal advanced communication support needed by the U.S. Army, and we are pleased to once again announce they will continue to fund further investments for our SNAP and VSAT hardware,” said Dr. Stanton Sloane, President and Chief Executive Officer of Comtech Telecommunications Corp.
