Modelithics has announced the availability of two new Microwave Global Models for Würth Elektronik inductor families. As part of the Modelithics Vendor Partner (MVP) Program, Würth Elektronik and Modelithics collaborated to develop advanced-feature models that offer substrate scalability, part value scalability and pad scalability. The two new inductor families now represented in the Modelithics library are the WE-MK 0603 case-size multilayer ceramic surface mount inductor series and WE-KI 0603 case-size surface mount wire-wound ceramic inductor series.
The new broadband equivalent circuit models cover the full range of part values available for each inductor family and are validated up to 30 GHz with precision Modelithics measurements. As an MVP, Würth Elektronik is currently sponsoring FREE 30-day licenses for use of all Modelithics models available for Würth inductors, which includes three 0402 case-size inductor series simulation models in addition to the two new 0603 inductor family models. The Würth Elektronik-Modelithics model sub-library is now available for easy installation and use in five popular microwave simulation tools: Keysight ADS, Keysight Genesys, NI AWR Design Environment, ANSYS HFSS and Sonnet Suites.
