AT4 Wireless Expands its Testing Capability for Bluetooth 5

AT4 wireless has announced the expansion of its  Bluetooth Qualification Testing Facilities (BQTFs) capabilities with the addition of Bluetooth 5 to its scope. On December 6th 2016, the Bluetooth SIG adopted the Bluetooth 5 specification. With the launch of Bluetooth 5, Bluetooth technology continues to evolve to meet the needs of the industry as the global wireless standard for simple, secure connectivity. With 4x range, 2x speed and 8x broadcasting message capacity, the enhancements of Bluetooth 5 focus on increasing the functionality of the Bluetooth technology for the IoT market needs.

AT4 wireless is now ready to qualify any new Bluetooth 5 product. The testing capability for Bluetooth 5 is already available by using the TACS4 BEST test system, which has been developed by AT4 wireless and is already recognized by the Bluetooth SIG as a Validated Test System for RF (Basic Rate & EDR), RF-PHY (Bluetooth low energy) and BB (Baseband) covering all current versions of  Bluetooth technology (up to 4.2).

With a total control of the test platform, AT4 wireless is offering not only testing for Qualification, but also debugging tests which can be customized based on the manufacturer’s requirements.
