NuWaves Engineering has released a small, highly efficient solid state power amplifier for communication or telemetry systems to provide high-performance transmission of data and other AM modulated signals.
The NuPower 12A01A from NuWaves Engineering is a highly linear, L & S-band power amplifier that operates from 1 GHz to 2.5 GHz. It delivers 4 Watts of linear RF power to boost performance of data links and transmitters and provides a gain of 36 dB, with a nominal input drive level of 0 dBm. The device provides a power efficiency of 20% to 40% and has the flexibility to be implemented into almost any communications or telemetry system to provide high-performance transmission of data and other AM modulated signals.
