Nuwaves Engineering Wins Contract for Navy Combat Instrumentation System

NuWaves Engineering has announced that it is one of six companies selected for the $197,905,650 cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract for research, development, delivery, sustainment, and upgrade of instrumentation for the Combat Environment Instrumentation Systems (CEIS) award.

The CEIS includes GPS-based time-space-position-information instrumentation, electronic attack/active emitter pods, warning/countermeasure systems, radio frequency and electro-optical tracking systems, multi-spectral threat/target systems and unmanned airborne vehicle instrumentation used by Department of Defense and allied training and test and evaluation ranges.

The contract was competitively procured via an electronic request for proposals and NuWaves is eligible to compete with the other awardees for Task Order awards satisfying the GPS-based Time-Space-Position-Information (TSPI) Instrumentation, RF and Electro-Optical (EO) Tracking Systems, Multi-Spectral Threat/Target Systems, and Unmanned Airborne Vehicle (UAV) Instrumentation requirements of the contract. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, California, is the contracting authority.

NuWaves will work with the Navy to help design, modernize, sustain, and improve the equipment and systems under the Combat Environment Instrumentation Systems contract.
