LightPointe has deployed its Gigabit capacity AireLink 60 radios for a major manufacturer in the building components industry, Panel Specialists, Inc. Panel Specialists has multiple buildings which needed connection to its Local Area Network. The company has installed both upper millimeter wave and laser technology wireless bridges, and has repeatedly turned to LightPointe for backhaul solutions.
Five years ago, Panel Specialists installed their first LightPointe Wireless Fiber link. They have now acquired more building and thus were looking at deploying more wireless links. The AireLink 60 was selected to connect the buildings due to its all-weather operation, licensee free operation, and nine levels of Adaptive Coding and Modulation which continuously optimizes the links.
Enterprises, telecom carriers, and government agencies install wireless bridges to avoid trenching for fiber, or avoid never-ending leased line fees.
