PCTEL Launches New CBRS & Wi-Fi Omnidirectional Antennas

PCTEL has expanded its wireless enterprise and small cell antenna offerings with the addition of several new fully sealed omnidirectional antennas. New models include two new Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) antennas (BOA34006N series) for spectrum sharing applications and two new high gain Wi-Fi omnidirectional antennas (MHO24007NMIP & MHO59009NMIP) for enterprise and industrial Wi-Fi networks.

PCTEL’s engineers worked closely with major small cell and enterprise Wi-Fi OEMs to develop the new antennas. All four models are IP67 rated for outdoor applications and deliver exceptional performance under harsh environmental conditions.

The BOA34006N series of omnidirectional base station antennas support CBRS (Citizens Broadband Radio Service) frequencies and are ideal for spectrum sharing and small cell applications. These antennas provide a gain of up to 6 dBi and can handle an input power of up to 20 watts. They have a linear array, encapsulated in a heavy-duty fiberglass radome with a thick-walled mounting base for reliable, long term use. The antennas measuring 0.825 x 9.13 inches & 0.825 x 8.93 inches are available with N-type male & female connectors.

The MHO24007NMIP is a Wi-Fi omnidirectional antenna designed to cover frequencies from 2.4-2.5 GHz for broadband access applications. It provides a gain of 7 dBi and can handle an input power of up to 20 watts. The antenna measuring 31.5 x 2.3 cm, is available with a N-type male connector at the base for easy mounting onto radio equipments.

The MHO59009NMIP is a 5 GHz Wi-Fi omnidirectional antenna that provides a gain of 9 dBi.
