Advanced RF Technologies (ADRF) has appointed Andrew Jun as its new Chief Technology Officer. In this role, Jun will drive tech advancement within the company, leading product strategy and R&D. Andrew Jun brings over 25 years of experience in telecommunications, including previous work at CS Corp, Korea Telecom, and RF Window.
According to Julie Song, President of ADRF, Andrew’s diverse experience in the telecom industry and global business acumen makes him the perfect fit to join the executive team. The company is excited to bring in someone with such an extensive wireless background to help enhance their current and future product roadmap.
Jun joins ADRF from CS Corp, where he served as the Head of Business Operations. Prior to that, he was the Senior Vice President (SVP) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at RF Window and VP of Mobile Network Strategy for Korea Telecom. He has been involved in a diverse spectrum of telecommunication and wireless technologies including 5G, distributed antenna systems (DAS), small cells, CRAN, V2X, WiFi, and LTE-FDD/TDD systems.
Speaking on his appointment, Jun said, he is looking forward to joining ADRF and helping the company establish the next generation of in-building wireless products. According to him, his experience working with current wireless infrastructure and emerging technologies, such as 5G, V-RAN, and O-RAN will be instrumental for future-proofing ADRF’s products to match the growing needs of the telecom industry as they’ve done for twenty years.
