International defense electronics manufacturer, dB Control, has appointed Mike England as its new President. dB Control designs and manufactures reliable high-power TWT Amplifiers (TWTAs), microwave power modules (MPMs), GaN Solid State Power Amplifers (SSPAs), transmitters, power supplies with modulators and transformers for radar, electronic countermeasures (ECM), and data link applications.
In this new role, Mike will use his 30+ years of industry experience to, further develop long term customer partnerships and relationships, facilitate collaboration with industry partners, accelerate the company’s growth and support marketing/sales initiatives of the company.
With a background in engineering, Mike has extensive multi-function experience overseeing both the day-to-day operational and high-level strategic aspects of a business. Prior to joining dB Control, he was President and Chief Technology Officer of RFE, Inc. (Fremont, Calif.). Previously, he was general manager of Teledyne Microwave Solutions RF/Microwave Products. Mike also spent nearly a decade at Teledyne Cougar, a manufacturer of amplifiers, VCOs, mixers, filters and integrated assemblies for military and space applications. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Chico and a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University.
