The EAM9-4C4W1G-xx Series from Excelwave are 9-Port Low-Profile 5G Antennas that operate from 617-960 MHz and 1690-6000 MHz. These vertically/RHCP-polarized antennas provide a gain of up to 8 dBi and have a VSWR of 2:1. They are designed for transit applications and incorporate low-profile heavy-duty radome assembly that meets the requirements for a variety of vehicles, including cars, buses, trucks, trams, and trains.
These antennas support 4x4 MIMO and cover 617-960 MHz/1690-6000 MHz on four of its nine ports, while the other four ports support 2400-2500/4900-6000 GHz dual-band WiFi, and the ninth port is dedicated to GPS/GNSS band. The integrated low noise amplifier (LNA) for the GNSS band provides a gain of 26 dB and has a noise figure of 2.7 dB.
These 5G antennas contain a self-adhesive EVA pad on the bottom of the antenna that provides additional protection from vibration and water ingress. They require only one mounting hole for the M25 bolt on the surface which simplifies the installation. These antennas require a DC supply from 3 to 5 V (GPS/GNSS LNA) and consume 15 mA of current. They are available in UV-stabilized ABS radome enclosures that measure 7 x 3.15 inches and have SMA (male) connectors.
