The BGT24AR4 from Infineon Technologies is a Silicon Germanium Quad Receiver Radar MMIC that operates from 24.0 GHz to 24.25 GHz. It provides a power gain of more than 47 dB and has a single side-band noise figure of 10 dB. The radar chip features four separate homodyne receiver chains each with a downconverter operating with an input RF frequency of 24 GHz.
The BGT24AR4 also has integrated IF filters and programmable gain baseband amplifiers. It consumes up to 610 mW of power and requires a single supply voltage of 3.3 V. This automotive radar chip comes with full ESD protection and is AECQ100 qualified. It is available in a VQFN-32-9 leadless plastic package, including lead-tip-inspection (LTI) feature.
