The S9101A from Keysight is a 5G-NR Base Station Transceiver System for automated testing of 5G NR infrastructure equipment in the FR1 (sub-6 GHz) and FR2 (24-44 GHz) spectrum bands. It supports the testing of 5G NR components, including remote radio heads (RRH), distributed units (DU), active antenna arrays, amplifiers, and chipsets. This system enables the wideband signal generation and analysis of 5G NR (3GPP Release 15 and higher) waveforms. It lowers the cost of tests with a reduced footprint compared to benchtop instruments and provides extremely high test throughput. This system can operate on both AC/DC supplies.
The S9101A features an “OTA-friendly” expandable architecture to avoid high losses from switching and long cable runs. OTA readiness saves space and costs with single bi-directional remote heads, with in-head switching for 2 polarizations, across all 24.25 to 43.5 GHz bands, delivering the best Power and EVM at the chamber. It includes Keysight N90E1S91A 5G Multi-Band Vector Transceiver software. It includes RJ-45 Ethernet ports, USB 2.0/3.0 connectors, GPIB, and PCIe interfaces.
